1934 Chicago Trib Cartoon - Fits for today

Has anyone seen this cartoon from the 1934 Chicago Tribune? Could anyone come up with a more fitting description of what is going on today?
The man in the street is writing a "Plan of Action for the U.S. "Spend, Spend, Spend under the guise of recovery - bust the government - blame the capitalist for the failure - junk the constitution and declare a dictatorship" (note to the left- "it worked in Russia."
"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
George Santayana, The Life of Reason, Volume 1, 1905
